Job description
We are seeking a skilled and organised Contract Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional time management skills, communication and organisational skills to provide administrator support to the team.
The responsibilities of this role are:
- Support the Contracts Administrator in administration tasks related to their projects
- Assist in preparing, purchase orders, and other project-related documentation
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records, including variations etc,
- Work closely with project managers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Assist in the preparation of project schedules and progress reports
- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers and subcontractors
- Resolve any disputes that may arise during the course of a project
- Organise and attend project meetings
- Collating information for end of month reporting
- Perform other administrative duties as required
Experience/Skills required:
- A degree is Construction Management, or relevant field
- Knowledge of construction contracts and industry terminology
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with an ability to priortise workload and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel
